New research in The Journal of Molecular Pharmacology demonstrates that Cannabis compounds may be a promising treatment for Alzheimer’s disease. It may seem counter-intuitive that compounds from the Cannabis plant may preserve memory, however Cannabidiol (CBD) and other compounds on the plant have neuroprotective effects. CBD appears to inhibit the cells directly involved with the progression of the disease. Read the new study on cannabinoids and Alzheimer’s disease.

it does not matter if it can cure disease or not. marijuana has been used for (most likely) thousands of years, we know it treats many side effects cause by disease or mental disorder but the fact is that its a choice. alcoholics are free to destroy their liver tobacco users are free to destroy their heart and lungs but its us marijuana smokers who get singled out and treated like criminals. its unjust obviously and just a way for slacking no-talent cops and judges to make a dishonest living. if you as a law enforcement official why is it illegal chances are they cant tell you why. should those who enforce the law know why the law is there? am i the only one who thinks its messed up that they dont?

The American Drug War is a total failure! It is high time (pun intended!) to end the insanity. It’s all about greed, power and control… The government and law enforcement lose more credibility every day that they maintain their irrational, greedy, narrow minded stance against legalization. We The People need to stand up and speak out for full legalization of marijuana and industrial hemp.<>>
